The Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Stem Cell Biology (DanStem) at Faculty of Health & Medical Sciences at the University of Copenhagen is inviting applications for a PhD student. The position is available in the Semb lab.
Starting date: January 2019 or upon agreement with the chosen candidate
Duration: 3 years
Qualifications:
- Applicant must hold a master’s degree in Molecular Medicine, Biotechnology, Biology or similar, and possess a general understanding of developmental and/or stem cell biology.
- Applicant must have practical experience in working with stem cells cultures.
- Practical project experience in basic lab techniques (i.e. cell culture, molecular cloning, RNA isolation, qRT-PCR, Western blotting, imaging using confocal microscopy) is considered beneficial.
- Applicant must possess good English communication skills, both oral and written.
