Dr. Salehi at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the University of Kentucky is looking for outstanding postdoc fellows and self-motivated Doctoral students and visiting scholars/ students to join his research group starting Spring/Fall 2019.

You are encouraged to apply if you have background in one or more of the following areas:

  • digital signal processing
  • molecular (DNA) computing and storage
  • VLSI and FPGA design and computer architecture

Selected Doctoral students can be either RA or TA (both available). In addition to a waiver of tuition and fees, the Graduate Assistantship also supports health insurance and competitive monthly salary.

Furthermore, Dr. Salehi will cover the cost for the conference participation.

The ECE department at the University of Kentucky has about 600 students in BS, MS, and PhD programs and 24 tenure-track faculty, with research strengths in computer engineering, nanoelectronics, computational electromagnetics, power and energy systems, and signal and image processing.

Faculty are actively involved in a broad range of research, including partnerships with the Center for Nanoscale Science and Engineering (CeNSE), the Institute for Sustainable Manufacturing (ISM), NASA Kentucky, and the Power and Energy Institute of Kentucky (PEIK).
