Postdoc Fellow position on Improving Understanding And Understanding Of Databases For The Non-Expert

Project Overview:

  1. The postdoc will be working on a project that focuces in the area of improving understanding and exploration of (mostly relational) data, potentially including its provenance and data integrated from multiple sources.
  2. The exact project will be determined based on the strengths and interests of the postdoc.
  3. The ideal candidate will have some background and experience in data provenance, data exploration, data mining, data summarization, data integration, and data visualization.

Note:

  1. There is no teaching required for the position, however
  2. It is likely possible to arrange for teaching if the successful candidate would be interested.

Duration: The position is for one (01) year and can be extended for an additional two (02) years by mutual consent.
