Postdoc Fellowship (PDF) / Senior Scientist at IIT Mandi: Applications are invited for Postdoc Fellowship (PDF) / Senior Scientist position  at Indian Institute of Technology Mandi (IIT Mandi).

Project: for DST sponsored TSDP project entitled “Next Generation, Cutting-Edge Indigenous EUVL Resists Technology for Semiconductor Industry”

Fellowship / Salary: The selected candidate will be appointed as a PDF as a institute postdoctoral fellow with salary Rs.35.000-60,000 per month consolidated.

Duration: Max. 02 Years, (The appointment will be made initially for a period of 1 Year.
extension for one more year is possible, based on the performance.

Nature of Post: The post is purely temporary.

Required Essential Qualification:

1. Potential candidates should have Ph.D. in Polymer Synthesis/Polymer Science/ Material Chemistry/or relevant field.
2. Quality research in the field of next generation lithography, thin film formation and
   characterization, relevant peer reviewed journals publications and good academic record

Desirable Qualification:

1. 1-2 year of working experience in industry/laboratory preferable.
2. Expertise:
   1. Applicant must posses a sound knowledge of next generation lithography particularly resists formulation, thin film formation,
   2. characterization through the surface analysis techniques (FESEM. TEM. FT1R. WAXS etc.) and
   3. developing condition optimization, resist patterning using election beam lithography (EBL). extreme
      ultraviolet (EUV) lithography.
   4. Direct self-assembly (DSA). Block Co-polymer based pattering and pattern
      transfer using etching through wet and dry etching techniques.
   5. More than above, capability of writing patent,
      manuscript etc will be a plus and also the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic group.
