Postdoc in Coastal Engineering at UBC: The Faculty of Applied Science at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver campus invites online applications from eligible bright candidate for filling up the Postdoctoral Fellow in Coastal Adaption Planning and Design to support the Coastal Adaptation Lab with research on coastal adaptation and resilience, both locally in British Columbia as well as globally.

About the Position: Selected candidates will participate in trans-disciplinary research projects on coastal adaptation (planning, design and engineering) in BC and will work with the team.

Position: Postdoctoral

Salary: as per norms

Closing Date: February 29, 2020.

Educational qualifications: Interested candidates should have doctoral degree (PhD) in coastal engineering, planning, landscape architecture, geography, urban studies, obtained within the past 5 years with strong publication and grant record. They must have knowledge of coastal communities in Canada and/or globally, including issues associated with coastal vulnerability, coastal engineering, and marine-related social and economic activities, particularly across Canada.
