Postdoc in Criminal Justice at University of British Columbia (UBC): The Centre for Forensic Behavioural Science and Justice Studies at the University of Saskatchewan is an interdisciplinary centre created to promote research, education and community engagement in the areas of crime, justice and corrections. Centre for Forensic Behavioural Science and Justice Studies at the University of British Columbia (UBC), Vancouver campus invites online applications from eligible bright candidate for Post-Doctoral Fellows – PSAC. The Centre collaborates with a number of criminal justice organizations including the Correctional Service of Canada (CSC).

About the Position: Selected candidates will be responsible for different aspects of research projects in the areas of crime, justice, and corrections including drafting research proposals and ethics applications, conducting literature reviews, organizing project advisory team meetings, collecting data and conducting data analyses, drafting manuscripts and technical reports, and delivering conference presentations.

Position: Post-Doctoral Fellows – PSAC

Location: Saskatoon

Salary: based on 1.0 FTE, is $60,000/annum

Duration: 1 Year, with the possibility of extension.

Closing Date: 20 February 2020.

Educational qualifications: Interested candidates should have doctoral degree (PhD) from a recognized Canadian or International University in a field of Psychology, Psychiatry, Sociology, Public Health, Criminal Justice, Nursing, Law, etc. with experience writing technical reports and drafting manuscripts for peer-reviewed publication, Experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methods having Strong oral communication skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team. They must have experience with statistical software (e.g., SPSS).
