Postdoc in Data Analyst at University of York: University of York within the Leverhulme Centre for Anthropocene Biodiversity, which is a chief new interdisciplinary research centre funded by The Leverhulme Trust. The Leverhulme Centre for Anthropocene Biodiversity  invited application to recruit a creative and enthusiastic Postdoctoral Research Associate (Data Analyst) with strong communication skills to develop and undertake research using a wide range of biodiversity, social science and humanities data sources.

Positions: Postdoctoral Research Associate

Duration: 4 years

Department: Biology

Salary: £32,236 – £39,609 a year.

Educational qualifications: Interested and eligible candidates must have Ph.D Degree in or equivalent experience with high level of knowledge and skills in a wide range of statistical and analytic methods (e.g., statistical modelling, Bayesian statistics, meta-analysis), knowledge of commonly used programming languages and statistical packages along with strong communication skills to develop and undertake research using biodiversity, social science and humanities data sources. Candidates should have the ability to provide statistical and analytical advice to other researchers, who will be from diverse disciplinary backgrounds.
