Department of Ecology, Environment and Plant Sciences, Stockholm, Sweden invites online applications from eligible bright candidate for filling up the Postdoctoral Fellow in Ecological Network Analysis and Spatial Regime Shifts funded by the Formas project “The stickleback wave” available at the Department of Ecology, Environment and Plant Sciences at Stockholm University under Assoc. Prof. Johan Eklöf.

About the position: This research will focus on an ongoing shift to an ecosystem regime dominated by the small fish three-spined stickleback (Gasterosteus aculeatus), that is currently expanding across the western Baltic Sea coast and impacting the whole ecosystem.

Position : Postdoctoral Fellow

Duration: 2 years

Salary: As per norms.

QUALIFICATIONS: Interested candidates must hold a Swedish doctoral degree or an equivalent degree from another country or PhD in Spatial Ecology, Ecological Network Analyses/Theory with a deep familiarity with key theoretical concepts and strong ability to routinely compile, process and analyze large spatial and temporal datasets in GIS and statistical software (preferably R).
