Postdoc in Neuroscience at University of British Columbia (UBC): The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of British Columbia (UBC), Vancouver campus invites online applications from eligible bright candidate for Postdoctoral Fellowship – Infection & Immunity Research, University Health Network to investigate the impact of in utero HIV antiretroviral exposure on neurodevelopment. This position is available in the Serghides Lab at the Toronto General Hospital Research Institute, University Health Network. The focus of this lab is on maternal and infant health in the context of HIV infection and HIV antiretroviral therapy, utilize in vitro models, rodent models, and patient cohorts.

Position: Postdoctoral Fellow

Salary: According to agreement

Duration: 1 Year, renewable for one additional year, subject to a performance.

Closing Date: 31 December 2019 – 12:00am

Educational qualifications: Interested candidates should have doctoral degree (PhD) in neuroscience or related discipline having experience with mouse models, mouse behavioural testing, and mouse neuroanatomical investigations. Candidates with Experience in histology (including tissue processing), immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization, microscopy, and molecular and cellular techniques will be preferred.
