The ForeFront research group at the Brain and Mind Centre, University of Sydney invites online applications from eligible candidates for filling up the Postdoctoral Research Associate position to undertake research in a global leading research and treatment centre on contract basis at Brain and Mind Centre, Mallett Street, Camperdown campus.

About the position: ForeFront conducts research studies across a number of research clinics and laboratories that generate diverse datasets stored in a variety of databases. This position is to support a large research team in the research-intensive Brain and Mind Centre.

Position: Postdoctoral Research Associate

Salary: $94,000-$101,000 p.a. plus superannuation.

Duration: full-time, fixed term until December 2020

Educational qualifications: Interested candidates should have PhD in Neurosciences, with a focus on Anatomy, Biotechnology, or related field with ability to conduct independent, methodologically rigorous research that contributes to theoretical concepts and clinical translation and must have passion to work on neurodegenerative diseases, in particular frontotemporal dementia. Candidates must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to work effectively in a team, manage resources and prioritise tasks.
