Postdoc in Polymer Chemistry at Uppsala University: Department of Chemistry – Ångström Laboratory, Uppsala University invited applications from eligible candidates with background of chemistry for filling up the Researcher position in the area of organic polymer chemistry and hydrogels.
About the Project: Selected candidates will work consist of design of hydrogel matrices that are fully biodegradable and potentially clinically translatable, mechanically tough and strong, does not swell in-vivo and processable using additive manufacturing techniques e.g. 3D printing.

Educational qualifications: Interested and eligible candidates must have PhD degree in organic polymer chemistry or related fields and experience in translational research with skills in planning, administration and providing teaching at second and third cycle level, the excellent communication skills in written and spoken English. Candidates must have High-level problem-solving skills and technical ability in basic organic chemistry and derivatisation of polymers including synthesis, purification and characterisation. Candidates with Experience related to intellectual property protection will be preferred.
