About the project:
  • The project focusses on Astrochemistry of protoplanetary discs atmospheres and their winds and is part of the DFG Research Unit FOR2634/1 “Planet Formation Witnesses and Probes: Transition Discs” lead by Prof. Ercolano at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University.

Duration: initially for 15 months; with the possibility of an extension

Requirements:

  • Applicants must have a PhD in Physics, Astronomy or Astrophysics, or expect to obtain their PhD in the near future.
  • Applicants should be familiar with astrochemistry codes, experience of protoplanetary disc modelling would be of advantage, but it is not strictly required.
