Postdoc position at EPFL: Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), invites online applications from highly motivated and enthusiastic scientist for filling up the post-doctoral position in the field of Mass Spectrometry and Biomarker Discovery in the Laboratory of Chemical Molecular Biology of Neurodegeneration ( lashuel-lab.epfl.ch ) at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland ( www.epfl.ch ). Selected will work on a “Michael J. Fox Foundation” funded project, aimed at analysing human CSF samples for biomarkers of Parkinson’s disease.

Educational qualifications: Interested candidates should have PhD (doctoral degree) in degree in Biochemistry/Chemistry/Chemical Biology/related fields/equivalent field with a strong publication record and demonstrated experience in the areas- targeted and quantitative mass spectrometry using LC-MS/MS and triple quadrupole MS systems, immunoprecipitation (IP), conventional biochemical techniques for the analysis of human samples including plasma and CSF. Candidates with experience in protein biochemistry will be preferred.
