About position: This position is to examines the role of Hypoxia-Inducible Factors (HIFs) and HIF-regulated genes in ocular neovascular diseases (e.g., diabetic eye disease, retinal vein occlusions, age-related macular degeneration).

Educational qualifications: Interested and eligible candidates must have PhD degree in cell and molecular biology or a related field and be skillful in oral and written research communication. Candidates having Proficiency in biochemistry, cell and molecular biology techniques, signal transduction, microscopy, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, angiogenesis assays and manipulation of experimental animals, including models of ocular disease will be preferred.
