Postdoc position at NIMS: Research Center for Magnetic and Spintronic Materials (CMSM), National Institute for Materials Science(NIMS) invited applications from eligible candidate for Postdoctoral Researcher (Fixed Term ) position to work on “Processing and magnetic and structural characterizations of rare earth permanent magnets” at National Institute for Materials Science, Sengen-Site (Tsukuba City, Ibaraki).

Positions: Postdoctoral Researcher (Fixed Term)

Salary: As per NIMS regulations

Duration: 1 year (renewable up to 5 years)

Location for position: National Institute for Materials Science, Sengen-Site (Tsukuba City, Ibaraki).

Educational qualifications: Interested and eligible candidates must have Strong background on hard magnetic materials, Ph.D. Degree in Materials Science or Applied Physics having experimental skills for handling fine powders of rare earth magnetic alloys. Candidates with Prior experience on macrostructure characterizations using SEM, TEM and FIB will be preferred.
