Talented individuals with a background in electrochemistry are invited for a Postdoc Research Fellowship position on the EPSRC funded PACIFIC project.
Organization: Schools of Chemistry and Engineering, University of Edinburgh
Applicants should hold a PhD in Chemistry or any related discipline and some relevant Master research experience.
They should be capable of working in a team.
The position is available immediately and will be fixed term for 12 months.
Main Responsibilities :
Lead the use of micro-fabricated electrode systems for the analysis of the redox properties of species in molten salts
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
1. PhD level training in Engineering, Chemistry, or related discipline
2. Relevant postgraduate research experience in molten salt
3. Electrochemistry; electrochemical sensing; and/or electroanalytical methods and techniques
4. Ability to work independently and collaboratively
5. Demonstrated ability to communicate complex information clearly, both orally and in writing
6. Ability to plan experiments and analyse and report on experimental data
