Postdoc Position in Chemistry at RIKEN: RIKEN Center for Sustainable Resource Science Research Center invites online applications from eligible PhD holder strongly motivated and creative in chemistry for filling up the vacant Postdoc position to join Advanced Organic Synthesis Research Team available at RIKEN Center for Sustainable Resource Science Research Center. The aim of this team is the development of “next generation synthesis” and its utilization for the creation of functional organic molecules.

About the Position: Selected candidates will work on the development of direct and highly selective coupling of organic molecules without prefunctionalization with reactive groups.

Educational qualifications: Interested candidates should have doctoral degree in Chemistry/ related field with a strong background and experimental skills in synthetic organic chemistry, organometallic chemistry, and catalysis. Candidates having experience with synthesis of conjugated functional molecules will be preferred.
