The Department of Archaeogenetics invites online applications from eligible bright candidate for filling up the 4 years Postdoc position in Population Genetics (E13 100%) with a focus on to understand genetic diversity and substructure of Neolithic and Bronze Age populations, with a particular emphasis on West- Eurasia.
About the Position: Selected candidates will use statistical methods to quantify ancestral relationships, such as PCA, admixture, and f-statistics. They will research on analysis of human genomic data from ancient and modern samples to reconstruct population history.

Educational qualifications: Interested candidates should have doctoral degree (PhD) in genetics, bioinformatics, and computer science or relevant discipline with large high-throughput sequencing or SNP datasets, and a profound interest in human history.Candidates must have evidence of strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to complete tasks in a timely.
