Postdoc Position in Materials Science at Lund University: The Faculty of Science organizes research and education within Biology, Astronomy, Physics, Geosciences, Mathematics, Chemistry and Environmental Sciences. Lund University, Department of Physics, Synchrotron Radiation Research invited applications from eligible candidates for filling up Postdoc position in ambient pressure x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and atomic layer deposition to take part in the research group’s activities, such as experiments at various research facilities, data analysis and publication.

About the Position: The aim of this research project is by using APXPS to develop a true understanding of the surface physical and surface chemical processes of atomic layer deposition (ALD).

Position: Postdoc

Fellowship: As per norms.

Duration: 2 years full-time, fixed-term employment

Educational qualifications: Interested and eligible candidates must have PhD degree in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science with extensive experience of work with UHV instruments and experiments in UHV, computer programming and coding and data analysis. Candidates with synchrotron-based ambient pressure x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy in UHV, experience of atomic layer deposition will be preferred.
