Postdoc Position in Materials Science: NTNU 2141 views

Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) invites applications for a Postdoc position in the field of density functional theory simulations of 2D layered materials for Mg-ion battery materials. The aim is to develop a new family of high capacity cathode materials for Mg-ion batteries.

Requirements:
  • The applicant must hold a PhD in Materials Science, Materials Chemistry, Solid State Physics or similar.
  • Applicants with documented expertise in electronic structure calculations on 2D layered materials, ionic conductors or oxide interfaces are preferred.
  • Applicants with experimental experience or documented collaboration with experimentalists would have an advantage.
  • Applicant must be creative, innovative and must be able to work independently
  • The applicant must document the ability to publish scientific papers.
