Postdoc Position in Molecular Biology at SLU: The Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) develops the understanding and sustainable use and management of biological natural resources. Department of Biomedicine and Veterinary Public Health, Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences invited application for filling up the position of Postdoctoral Fellow in Toxicology – Combination effects of toxic compounds in the environment and in food to take a leading role in the design and execution of the laboratory work, to publish scientific papers, and to participate in the supervision of master students and PhD student.

About the Positions: Selected candidates will work in the fields of molecular toxicology and food toxicology with research queries relating to combination effects that can occur when humans are exposed to multiple chemicals simultaneously by using in vitro methods which is based on cultured cells, which have been modified to respond to toxic compounds that activate specific toxicity pathways.

Salary: According to agreement.

Duration: 2 years

Educational qualifications: Interested and eligible candidates must have PhD degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, toxicology, or pharmacology with Good ability to communicate in written and spoken English. Previous research experience in the field of toxicology and combination effects/mixture effects using in vitro methods, experience of modelling of combination effects is highly preferable.
