Postdoc Position in Physical Chemistry at Lund University: The Faculty of Science organizes research and education within Biology, Astronomy, Physics, Geosciences, Mathematics, Chemistry and Environmental Sciences. Lund University is offering applications from eligible candidates for filling up the position of Postdoctoral fellow in Physical Chemistry to study adsorption and organization of anisotropic colloids and protein aggregates at model lipids membranes.

About the Position: The aim of this research is the understanding of interactions between anisotropic colloidal particles and protein aggregates with lipid membranes. Such interactions are of fantastic significance in as separate fields as materials science, nanotechnology and branches of molecular biology.

Position: Postdoc

Fellowship: As per norms.

Duration: 2 years full-time, fixed-term employment

Educational qualifications: Interested and eligible candidates must have PhD degree in physical chemistry, or equivalent, with experience of experimental research in Surface and colloid chemistry also experience in fluorescence microscopy, scattering techniques and surface techniques. Candidates must have creative problem-solving ability, to take responsibility for and finish projects independently and to have stamina and Good knowledge in spoken and written English. Candidates with documented experience from experimental studies of self-assembled system composed of lipids as well as polymers or protein will be preferred.
