Post‐doctoral Fellow Opportunity in Sustainable Energy Policy at The School of Environment, Resources and Sustainability at the University of Waterloo. The center is seeking a post‐doctoral fellow (PDF) in the area of sustainable energy policy. The position will commence as soon as possible (and no later than 1 June 2016) for an 18‐month period. The annual salary will be $50,000 plus benefits.
Tasks Involved: The PDF will investigate the social acceptance of energy storage technologies. More specifically, the PDF will complete two major investigations:
(i) a systematic review of the relevant literature; and
(ii) an evaluation of methods used to understand communities’ engagement with transformative energy technologies.
Requirements / Qualifications: The candidate will also possess the following:
- an internationally‐recognized research capability,
- an emerging publication record,
- demonstrated interest in interdisciplinary research,
- outstanding communication skills (written and verbal),
- evidence of initiative and advanced organizational skills, and
- successful experiences within a collaborative research environment.
