Postdoc Position on Scientific Computing ( Computer science) at Uppsala University: The Department of Information Technology, Uppsala University invited application for filling up the Postdoctoral position on scientific computing available at the Division of Scientific Computing to work on Unlocking sensitive training data to improve deep learning organ segmentation for radiation oncology and Improving Federated Machine Learning (FedML) methodology.

Project Research: Federated machine learning with application in radiation oncology.

About the Project: Selected candidates will be a part of the Integrative Scalable Computing Laboratory headed by Associate Professor Andreas Hellander and Assistant Professor Salman Toor. This research will be conducted in close collaboration with the machine learning group at RaySearch Laboratories led by Dr. Fredrik Löfman.

Position: Postdoc position

Duration: 2 years

Salary: as per norms

Educational qualifications: Interested and eligible candidates must have PhD or an international equivalent degree in Scientific computing, Computer science, Applied mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent with Good programming skills. Candidates with experience in Distributed- and cloud computing, Cyber security, Image analysis, and Software engineering and large-scale software development will be preferred.
