Postdoc position on Semiconductor devices at NIMS:  The Elements Strategy Initiative Center for Magnetic Materials (ESICMM), National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS), Electronic Theory and Computation Group invited applications from eligible candidate for filling up Postdoctoral Researcher (Fixed Term ) position to assist/support on the thermal analysis of wide-bandgap semiconductor electronic devices.

About the Position: Theoretical research on permanent magnets has traditionally been developed based on micromagnetics. Recently theoretical approaches on the atomic scale are needed for a detailed understanding of coercivity. This subject is one of the main topics of the electronic theory group (Takashi Miyake leader, AIST) in ESICMM (a Mext project).

Position: Postdoctoral Researcher (Fixed Term)

Salary: As per NIMS regulations

Duration: 1 year

Location for the position: National Institute for Materials Science, Namiki-Site (Tsukuba City, Ibaraki)

Educational qualifications: Interested and eligible candidates must have PhD Degree with experience and knowledge of condensed matter physics and/or material science as well as a working knowledge on programming skills.
