Postdoc Position in the field of Stem cell technology, ETH Zurich

The Postdoc fellow will be part of an exciting and stimulating research environment, working closely with an international and interdisciplinary team of scientists / scholars in the group of Prof. Mustafa Khammash. The work combines experimental methods with quantitative analyses for cutting-edge research in synthetic and systems biology.

The postdoctoral will have opportunities for professional growth including opportunity to learn about mathematical modeling and systems approaches to biology.

Requirements / Qualifications 

  1. Candidates must have a PhD degree in molecular biology or a related field with experience in mammalian synthetic biology and cell engineering.
  2. Expertise in CRISPR/Cas9 techniques, optogenetics, mammalian stem cell biology and state-of-the-art microscopy methods.

The department (D-BSSE) is a truly interdisciplinary research unit within the ETH Zurich where theory, experimental biology and engineering groups team up to foster advances in Systems Biology, Biotechnology & Synthetic Biology.
