Postdoc Positions in the Tumor biology program at LCCC: The Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center(LCCC) is one of the few NCI designated Cancer Centers, and it is an addressee of multiple training grants, placing our scientific environment at the cutting edge and highest standards of education and research. Georgetown University, Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center (LCCC) invites online applications from eligible highly-motivated, self-driven, individuals candidate for NIH funded post-doctoral fellow positions available immediately in the tumor biology program funded by the NCI training grant (T32). These positions are completely chosen to U.S. citizens or US permanent residents.

About the Program: The tumor biology program at LCCC is dedicated to providing a highly interactive and supportive environment, where the major goals are to promote basic and clinical-oriented research and to foster future career opportunities for the selected individuals.

Educational qualifications: Interested candidates should have doctoral degree having interest in the following research area as The etiology of cancer, biomarkers, and molecular epidemiology/ Aging and cancer/ Stem cell biology in cancer/ Molecular radiobiology and experimental cancer therapeutics/ Role of metabolism and mitochondria in cance/ Aging and cancer/ Study of hormone and drug resistance / Role of immune system and immuno-therapy in cancer/ Molecular mechanisms of cancer initiation and progression etc.
