Postdoc Program: Call for applications for the ISTplus program by the Institute of Science and Technology Austria.

University is seeking a talented, dynamic, and motivated scientist looking for an opportunity to conduct research in the fields of BIOLOGY, COMPUTER SCIENCE, MATHEMATICS, PHYSICS, or NEUROSCIENCE at a young, thriving institution that fosters scientific excellence and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Application deadlines: March 15th and September 15th.

Funding: This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie (MSC) grant agreement No. 754411

Eligibility Requirements

  1. Candidates must fulfill the Marie Curie mobility requirements in order to be selected.
  2. Candidates must either be relocating to Austria or, if they currently live in Austria or have previously lived in Austria, candidates are only eligible if they have been in Austria for a total of less than 12 months during the three years previous to the deadline of the respective Call.
  3. Before issuing of a contract of employment by IST Austria, successful Candidates may be required to provide official evidence of their eligibility (e.g. work contracts, utility bills, visa stamps, etc.)
  4. Candidates must have formally completed all requirements of your PhD and provide a copy of your diploma prior to the start of your employment (which cannot be later than 5 months after the fellowship offer is issued).
  5. Your proposed research must match with the research carried out on campus.
  6. Postdocs who are already employed at IST Austria are not eligible to apply.
  7. All applications must include the ethics self-assessment form to be considered eligible.
