Overview:
Applications are invited for a Postdoc Research Associate to work under the supervision of Professor Ben Davis on a research project.
Funding: EPSRC/CRUK/University of Oxford
Duration: for a period of 12 months.
The project involves research at the interface of chemistry and biology that will use methods to perform chemistry on peptides and proteins for exploratory use in biology.
Tasks Involved
1. Duties will include managing own academic research & administrative activities, contributing ideas for new research projects
2. Developing ideas for generating research income and present detailed research proposals to senior researchers.
Requirements:
You should have a PhD in chemistry, biochemistry or chemical biology or have submitted your thesis prior to taking up your appointment.
The University of Oxford and the Department of Chemistry are Athena SWAN Silver award holders. Applications are particularly welcome from women and black and ethnic minority candidates, who are under-represented in Chemistry research posts in Oxford.
