Postdoc researcher position at ISGlobal: Indian Postdoctoral researcher malariology

Introduction: Barcelona Center for International Health research is an internationally recognized center of excellence for education, research and service delivery in the field of tropical infectious diseases & environmental epidemiology.
Project: The Department of Malaria Physiopathology is currently running research projects aiming to identify tools to accelerate towards elimination of malaria through the understanding of the molecular biology of the parasite & the immune responses developed by exposed population. Also, the team is analyzing the value of microRNAs as biomarkers that is specific for severe infectious diseases such as pneumonia (bacterial or viral) & severe malaria, which are difficult to distinguish in some developing countries where diagnostic methods are scarce.
Requirements for the Position:
- A motivated Indian postdoc researcher with a background in molecular and cellular biology who is seeking to apply to SERB Overseas Postdoctoral fellowship (Government of India; SERB-OPDF).
