PostDoc Position at the Tulane University: A postdoc position is available at the laboratory of Dr. Julie Albert in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Department.
Key Work: The lab is interested in developing polymers with tunable nano- and micro-structured morphologies to address the challenges in energy, health, and environmental applications.
How to Apply: Interested applicants should email their updates CV and a brief statement of their research interests to Dr. Julie Albert : jalbert6@tulane.edu.
Project description:
- This position will entail working on a project funded by Louisiana Board of Regents
- Main aim is to investigate the fundamentals of block copolymer-homopolymer blend phase separation in composition regimes that lie between the nanostructured assemblies of block copolymers & the mesoscale morphologies of polymer blends.
- The project will involve synthesis of the polymers specifically designed for these studies,
- The selected applicant should have a strong background in polymer synthesis.
- The successful candidate will be asked to mentor graduate students,
- Current funding is available for 1 year; (continuation of the position is contingent upon performance and securing funding for a IInd year).
