Description:
Department is seeking for Postdoc Fellow in organic chemistry. The selected postdoc will be studying the use of carbodiimides as chemical fuels for nonequilibrium systems chemistry. The position will be supported by a grant from the Department of Energy.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Duties include organic synthesis and the characterization of non-equilibrium chemical systems (e.g., chemical kinetics, supramolecular assemblies).
Required Minimum Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in chemistry or a related field, or letter from Registrar or Grad School that s/he has completed all requirements for graduation
- Experience in organic synthesis.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in kinetics and/or supramolecular chemistry.
Hours Per Week/Percent Time: 100%
