The Australian National University (ANU) Research School of Astronomy and Astrophysics (RSAA) has opening for a Postdoctoral Fellow and the postdoc will be part of Professor Mark Krumholz’s research group, and will carry out research in one or more areas of interest to the group, which include the interstellar medium, star formation, galaxy formation, galactic chemical evolution, and cosmic rays. The Postdoctoral Fellow will also assist in supervising and mentoring undergraduate and HDR students.
Requirements:
- Applicant must hold PhD (or awarding of a PhD within six months of appointment commencement) in physics, astronomy, or a closely-related discipline
- The ability to articulate and prosecute innovative research in the field of astrophysics to deliver high-quality research output
- Excellent oral and written English language skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate and interact effectively
