About the fellowship:

This fellowship is combined in the Laser-Med project (Towards an integrated prediction of Land & Sea Responses to global change in the Mediterranean Basin), a multi-disciplinary project including economists, agronomists, geographers and marine biologists.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Applicant must hold Ph.D. in Economics, obtained by January 1st 2017.
  • Applicants must possess skills about land-use models, GIS methodologies and agricultural economics.
  • Applicants with knowledge of the Mediterranean area will have an advantage.
  • Knowledge in French language is not required but candidates are expected to acquire basic knowledge of French during their postdoctoral appointment.

Fellowship funding scheme:

  • Salary: 2000 €/month (depending on the French administration rules and after payment for health care).
  • travel expenses, equipment, and supplies expenses will also be covered
