Postdoctoral Fellowship in Mathematical Physics 1102 views

The Center of Advanced Applied Sciences at the Czech Technical University invites applications for a postdoctoral position in mathematical physics in the research team “Geometry and spectral properties of quantum systems”.

Duration: 01 year; with the possibility of extension for a second year

Starting date: available immediately

Fellowship value:  approximately 45 000 CZK monthly before tax (gross)

Requirements:

• Applicants must hold PhD in mathematics or theoretical physics (or equivalent) obtained preferably after January 1, 2014.
• Applicant must demonstrate strong research promise in at least one of the following research domains: Schr¨odinger operators; Jacobi and other structured matrices, orthogonal polynomials; spectral theory; partial differential equations; geometric analysis.
• An experience in the project topic area is an advantage but not necessary.
