Postdoctoral Fellowship –Molecular Biology at the College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences
Supervisor: Prof. Mandip Singh Sachdeva
Opening exists for one post-doctoral fellow to join a multidiscplinary group of scientists and graduate students to work in the area of Drug Delivery, Cancer and nanomaterials. The incumbent would be responsible for doing in vitro cell culture studies, 3D assays, molecular studies like western blots, flow cytometry, PCR, 3D printing of cells, animal studies and other such molecular work as required.
Qualification / Requirements
The ideal candidate should have a Ph.D. degree (awarded) in the field of molecular biology, nanobiology, biotechnology nanomaterials science.
Post-Ph.D experience of at least one year at a research institute or a pharmaceutical company or post doc is preferred. The candidates having experience in cell culture assays, development of cancer model and nanotechnology based formulations in cancer area will be a plus.
The laboratory provides strong support for the development of independent projects leading to a productive career for post-doctoral candidates with successful careers in academia and industry in the US and abroad.
The candidate must be highly motivated and capable of working in a team with good interpersonal skill.
