Centre for Innovation in Biomedical Imaging Technology (CIBIT) at University of Queensland is inviting application for a postdoctoral fellow in AI-based Biomedical Imaging.
About the position:
- Successful candidate will work with CAI Academics and Industry Partners to develop a research program in biomedical imaging using AI/machine learning.
- Successful candidate will be expected to participate in publication of high quality scholarly papers, attend conferences, and assist with applications for research funding.
Requirements:
- Applicants must hold a PhD in the area of Physics, Mathematics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Signal Processing or an equivalent combination of relevant experiences, training or education.
- Applicant should have programming skills and experience with using simulations to solve research problems, preferably in the area of biomedical imaging.
- Applicant must have the enthusiasm and drive to conduct high quality research.
- Good communication and teamwork skills are essential.
Duration: 2 year; full-time; fixed term position
