Postdoctoral Position: Applied Physics: Postdoctoral Position: Applied Physics

Department of Physics, Faculty of Science of King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang in Bangkok, Thailand is inviting applications for the position of postdoc.

Subject Area:

  • Nanophotonics
  • Optical materials properties at the nanoscale
  • Computation as well as basic photonics
  • Plasmonics and nanomaterials

Eligibility Criteria: The applicants must:

  • Hold a phd degree which is no more than 3 years old in applied physics (computational or experimental) or other related field of study
  • Have good spoken and written English.
  • Be Highly motivated
  • Be Dynamic and
  • With self-initiative
  • The applicants would be required to carry out the necessary experiments.
  • It is expected that the work would be published in two peer-reviewed journal.
Number of available positions: 1 to 3 positions

Level of study: Researcher/Postdoc level

Type of job: Full-time (Nontenured)

Fellowship Details:

  • The salary would be about 1,000 USD per month including a round-trip air fare.
  • working hours would be 8.00-17.00 p.m. Monday to Friday
  • Saturday and Sunday would be holidays
  • No insurance will be provided.
  • Arrangements for accommodation would be required to be done by the applicant himself

  • Grade transcripts
  • Individual research project. The research plan should include aim, background, project outline, justification, method, time schedule, innovation.
