The Aachen-Maastricht Institute for Biobased Materials (AMIBM) invited applications for filling up postdoctoral position in Sustainability Assessment of lignin-based. Selected candidate will work in the research group Sustainability of Materials of the Aachen-Maastricht Institute for Biobased Materials and will lead for the work package on sustainability of the LIBERATE project.

Total Vacancies: 1 Position

Position: Postdoctoral

Salary: minimum € 2.709,- and maximum € 4.978

Duration: 15 months with the possibility to extend the contract after this period.

Location: Implanted in a lively and creative working environment at the Brightlands Chemelot Campus in Geleen.

Educational qualifications: Interested and eligible candidates must have PhD degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or a related field within the past 5 years, with experience in environmental impact assessment. Candidates with experience in Life Cycle Assessment will be preferred. Applicants must have proven experience with publishing scientific work in refereed international scientific journals, an excellent background in biobased chemicals /materials and sustainability assessment and outstanding oral and written communication skills in English
