Postdoctoral position at the HI ERN: The “Helmholtz Institute Erlangen-Nuremberg for Renewable Energies” (HI ERN) is IEK-11, an institute of Forschungszentrum Jülich. The HI ERN is operated in close cooperation with the Friedrich Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU) and the Helmholtz Center Berlin (HZB). HI ERN invited online applications from eligible candidates for research group focuses on basic research in the field of activity, stability and selectivity of non-aqueous systems such as organic electrosynthesis or batteries. Selected candidate will be assigned to the group “Non-aqueous Electrochemistry” under the direction of Dr. med. Balázs B. Berkes is a member of the “Electrocatalysis” department of HI ERN.

Position: Postdoctoral Position

Place of employment: Erlangen

Salary: as per norms.

Educational qualifications: Interested and eligible candidates must have excellent university degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science/relevant discipline also Ph.D. Degree in a relevant field with Strong interest in research in the field of electrochemistry, especially non-aqueous systems and organic chemistry, experience with organic synthesis.
