The Faculty of Health Sciences, Addictions Counseling Program at the University of Lethbridge, invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellowship position in treatment research for substance use and behavioural addictive disorders.

About the position:
  • The postdoctoral fellow will work with a team of health sciences researchers and trainees in a dynamic and interactive environment to analyze, evaluate, disseminate and translate results from a systemic, integrative couple-based treatment implementation research.
  • The position offers a rich opportunity to gain knowledge in integrated research-to-practice strategies to enhance addiction and mental health services in the health system.
  • The selected candidate will be responsible for Quantitative and qualitative analysis, literature review and synthesis, collaboration on manuscripts for publication with research team, knowledge translation activities and grant proposals.
  • The successful candidate will be supervised by Dr. Bonnie Lee, Board of Governors Research Chair (Tier II), Associate Professor, Addictions Counselling Program, Faculty of Health Sciences.

Requirements:

  • Applicants must hold a doctoral degree in Health Sciences, Public Health, Addiction Studies, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, Sociology, and Biostatistics.

Duration: 12-month appointment (depending on start date and subject to funder approval).
