Postdoctoral position in Biomedical science at University of Michigan: University of Michigan invites applications from highly motivated and enthusiastic and creative candidates with biomedical science background for filling up the Postdoctoral Fellow in Cancer Epigenetics, available in Prof. Tomasz Cierpicki and Prof. Russell Ryan laboratories, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, to bring out cancer epigenetic projects focused on studying the effect of small molecules blocking new epigenetic targets and to pursue target validation studies using genetic approaches.
About the position: Selected candidate will be a part of an interdisciplinary team focused on development and pre-clinical evaluation of novel anti-cancer drug candidates. This position necessitates the proficiency in cell biology and molecular biology techniques, including PCR, qRT-PCR, Western Blotting, co-Immunoprecipitation, ChIP, ChIPSeq, flow cytometry, CRISPR-based “epigenome editing”.

Educational qualifications: Interested and eligible candidates must be a first author on at least 2-3 publications, holding PhD degree in biology with experience in cell and molecular biology techniques. Candidates having Prior work experience with animals such as transgenic mice and xenograft models of cancer will be preferred.
