Stockholm University invites online applications from eligible bright candidate for filling up the Postdoctoral Fellow in Materials Chemistry for the project “Lignin-based functional materials” at Department of Materials and Environmental Chemistry Stockholm University, Stockholm, Sweden. This project’s aim is to develop sustainable modification of ligning for added stability and functionality in nanostructured materials.

About the position: Selected candidates will involve in research at the intersection of renewable polymer chemistry, bio-based material synthesis, and characterization of novel functions in energy and environmental applications.

Educational qualifications: Interested candidates must hold a Swedish doctoral degree or an equivalent degree from another country. Candidates having research skills in organic chemistry applied to natural polymers, colloids and interfaces, and fabrication and advanced characterization of bio-based materials will be preferred.
