The division of non-thermal astrophysics at the Max Planck Institute for Nuclear Physics is offering a position as a Postdoctoral Research Associate (m/f/d). The position offered is a fixed term contract to work on the theory of high-energy non-thermal processes in astrophysical sources.

Requirements
  • Applicant to hold Master’s degree in physics and PhD in astrophysics
  • Applicant must demonstrate experience in numerical and/or theoretical modelling of plasma processes/particle acceleration

Duration: initially limited for 3 years.
