Postdoctoral Research Associate position in Soft Materials Group at University of Pittsburgh: University of Pittsburgh, Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences, Department of Chemistry invites online applications from eligible bright doctoral researchers and PhD students who are interested in physics and physical chemistry of polymers and nano-composite materials, ionic liquids and polymer electrolytes.

About the project: The research aims to around experimental studies of ionic liquids and polymer-based materials, and soft matter dynamics in general. The group includes researchers from the Department of Chemistry and Department of Physics and Astronomy at UT Knoxville and from the Oak Ridge National Laboratory.

Position: Postdoctoral Research Associate

Salary: as per norms.

Duration: Upto 5 years.

Educational qualifications: Interested candidates should have doctoral degree (PhD Degree)  in Physics, Materials Science or a closely related field having knowledge of dielectric spectroscopy and/or rheology, and experience. Candidates with knowledge of light scattering, neutron scattering, or scanning probe microscopy will be preferred.
