 Postdoctoral Research Associate position in FPGA: University of Sydney: University of Sydney is Australia’s first university and have an outstanding global reputation for academic and research excellence. The Computer Engineering Lab in the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering invites online applications from eligible bright postdoctoral researchers and PhD students who are interested in machine learning for filling up the Postdoctoral Research Associate position ( FPGA-based Machine Learning) for a research initiative funded by the Department of Defence.

About the project: This project aims to improve upon current machine-learning techniques and innovate methods for translating computationally complex machine- learning algorithms directly to circuit-based execution and this project is focused on the challenge of applying real-time machine learning to massive high-frequency data streams such as those seen in radio frequency and video applications.

Position: Postdoctoral Research Associate

Location: Camperdown Campus.

Salary: $92-98k plus.

Duration: Full-time, Fixed term for 1 year.

Educational qualifications: Interested candidates should have doctoral degree PhD in reconfigurable computing/related discipline having Research experience in FPGA design and/or deep learning applications with strong publications record. Candidates must have ability to independently conduct world-class research.
