Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Semiconductor Physics at UiO: The UiO Department of Physics/Centre for Materials Science and Nanotechnology is awarded a Toppforsk project entitled ‘Functionalizing Defects in Advanced Semiconductors’ (FUNDAMeNT), funded together by the Research Council of Norway and UiO for a period of 5 years. The University of Oslo (UiO), Department of Physics / Centre for Materials Science and Nanotechnology (SMN) invited online applications from highly motivated applicants with excellent English interpersonal, communication and writing skills for  Postdoctoral Fellowship in Semiconductor Physics. The fellowship period is 2 years.

Position: Postdoctoral Fellowship

Salary: NOK 515 200 – 597 400 per annum

Duration: 2-5 Years

Closing Date: 30 November 2018

Educational qualifications: Interested candidates should have PhD (doctoral degree) or other corresponding education equivalent to a Norwegian doctoral degree in Physics with solid scientific background in semiconductor physics related to the topic described above and experience in conducting complex experiments and advanced analyses of electro-optical defect spectroscopy data.

Desirable: Candidates having Publications in high-impact journals, like Physical Review Letters and Physical Review B will be given preference.
