The Agricultural Economics and Policy Group and the Grassland Sciences Group at ETH Zurich invite applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher in Grassland Ecosystem Valuation. The group is seeking postdoctoral researcher with a background in ecosystem service science or economic valuation to contribute to the research area of ecosystem service valuation.
The position is available within the project ‘Portfolio management to value grassland ecosystem goods and services in Swiss agriculture (VALUEGRASS)’. The recipient will work in an interdisciplinary team with a focus on spatially explicit risks and uncertainties in the provision and valuation of ecosystem goods and services from grasslands.
About the project:
- The recipient will work in and be jointly guided by the Agricultural Economics and Policy Group (Prof. Robert Finger and Dr. Robert Huber) and the Grassland Sciences Group (Prof. Nina Buchmann).
- The position is at the interface between two interdisciplinary research groups at a lively university environment in Zurich.
- Duration of the research will be 2-year
- Starting date is by 01.02.2017 or by arrangement.
