Postdoctoral Researcher Position at RIKEN: RIKEN, Nanoscale Quantum Photonics Laboratory invites online applications from eligible bright candidate who is interested in research field in science and engineering for filling up the Research scientist or postdoctoral researcher (W18004) to conduct experimental research at the Nanoscale Quantum Photonics Laboratory, RIKEN Cluster for Pioneering Research (Chief Scientist: Yuichiro Kato). The Nanoscale Quantum Photonics Laboratory focuses on exploring the physics underlying the operation of nanoscale photonic devices, with an emphasis on devices that utilize individual single-walled carbon nanotubes.

Project: Projects will involve fabrication and engineering of nanoscale devices, microspectroscopy and imaging measurements, as well as development of automated data collection and analysis systems.

Total Vacancies: 1 to 2 positions

Position: Postdoctoral Researcher

Salary: According to agreement

Duration: 1 Year, term employment contract, renewable based on evaluation, (5 years for postdoctoral researcher) of employment.

Closing Date: Open until the position is filled

Educational qualifications: Interested candidates should have doctoral degree in physics, applied physics, electrical engineering. Candidates also required having written and verbal English proficiency.
