Postdoctoral Researchers in Nanoscience at ICN2: The Institut Catala de Nanociencia i Nanotecnologia, with its official English translation Catalan Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology and acronym ICN2, is a non-profit international research institute, is a well-known research centre and its research focus on the newly discovered physical and chemical properties that arise from the behaviour of matter at the nanoscale. ICN2 invites online applications from eligible bright candidate who is for filling up the Postdoctoral Researchers positions to work on the project “Modelling graphene based nanocomposites for energy applications” for bounded full-time for a period of 2 Years. The project is associated to an ERA-NET FLAGERA project in which other European partners will take part of the work through an established collaboration framework

Position: Postdoctoral Researchers

Research area/group: Theoretical and Computational Nanoscience Group

Salary: Salary will depend on qualifications and demonstrated experience and according to the cost of living in Barcelona.

Duration: 2 years.

Educational qualifications: Interested candidates should have doctoral degree in Theoretical physics and quantum simulations (molecular dynamics DFT and/or tight-binding modelling).Candidates having experience in electronic and/or thermal transport simulation will be preferred. Candidates also required having with sufficient English level for communication.
